The Maison de Maitre is the centre-piece to La Tannerie. Built around 150 years ago it retains many of its original features.
It is used by the current owners as their home, but because of its rental potential they vacate the property for the peak summer months.
The entrance hall has doors leading to the sitting room, the lounge and dining room, the utility room and office, as well as a beautiful wooden staircase leading to the first floor.
Both the lounge and the sitting room have impressive fireplaces with wood-burners installed.
The dining room, which adjoins the lounge, has room for a dining table which can comfortably seat 10 people.
The kitchen is fitted with a range of cupboards with room to store large quantities of catering equipment. There is a double-oven cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
French windows lead from the kitchen ...
... onto the deck.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms;

Bedroom 1 - a twin/double room

Bedroom 2 - a double room

Bedoom 3 - a twin/triple room

Bedoom 4 - a double/twin/triple room
Each bedroom has an en suite shower room.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 have an inter-connecting door which enables use as a family suite with two shower rooms.
The staircase continues to the second floor which is a fully-boarded and insulated loft with windows at either end and several small roof lights.
There is potential here for the loft to be converted into further generous accommodation. Wiring and plumbing is already in situ.
Heating in the Maison is by oil-fired central heating with the additional benefit of wood burning stoves in the sitting room and the lounge.
